Cinda Williams Chima is back with the next installment of the Heir Chronicles. In the Enchanter Heir, Jonah, a ruthless Nightshade assassin, and Emma, a music enthusiast unaware of her magical talents, will be forced together. They both share a past, connected by the horrific events that occurred at the Thorn Hill Massacre. Here in the present, wizards are turning up dead, creating even more tension between the Wizard Guild and the Interguild Council. I can already tell Chima has once again created an amazing story full of action, mystery and magic.
So many things to ponder: What exactly happened at Thorn Hill that relates to Jonah and Emma? Will we get to see our old friends again? (Here’s hoping that we do!) Who or what is killing all the wizards? Will the Guilds ever find peace? Are Seph and Maddie a couple or what? Who will ever win in a fight: Jack or Ellen?
